Greeting Cards Courtroom Sketches

Immediately after graduating from her home town college, Wichita State University, Becky headed for Colorado to teach art in the Jefferson County Public Schools in 1967. By 1972, she sought more diverse opportunities to express herself through fine art. Becky then expanded into areas of courtroom art, graphic design, watercolors and custom murals.

The courtroom opportunities expanded rapidly and took her to many cities in the U.S. working for national television networks over the past 17 years. She sketched during the trials fo McVeigh/Nichols, Silverado, Allen Burg, Michael Jackson, the Montana "Freemen," Nathan Dunlap, and Denver School Desegregation. She and her work have been featured in the television series "Perry Mason" and "Matlock."

Becky has also juried many shows and volunteered her graphic design talent for numverous charities including: Denver Art Museum, Cystic Fibrosis, Colorado Marrow Donor Program, and the Alzheimer's Association. Her own bone marrow saved the life of an infant in 1992. She has been hired to sketch honored guests at events, anniversaries, and parties and has completed numerous wall mural commissions.

Her impressionistic landscape watercolors have been exhibited at many galleries in the Rocky Mountain region. Living in Genesee allows her love of mountains to inspire her watercolors which are executed at her Denver lodo studio.
